Responsibilities
- Managing and organizing the full accounting operations of the company in accordance with Bulgarian legislation.
- Preparing and submitting monthly and annual reports, statements, and declarations to NRA, NSSI, NSI, and other institutions.
- Preparing and submitting all mandatory declarations and reports related to labor legislation and payroll (to NRA, NSSI, NSI, etc.).
- Preparing the annual financial report and submitting the required data and declarations to NSI, NRA, and the Commercial Register.
- Monitoring all accounting and financial operations – payments, invoicing, VAT, recording of income and expenses.
- Working with accounting software and Excel – entering, verifying, and tracking data.
- Preparing various reports and analyses for the management.
- Communicating with clients, suppliers, and banking institutions.
Skills/Experience
- University degree in Accounting and Control or a similar economic discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar position.
- Excellent knowledge of the current tax and labor legislation – CITA, VAT Act, PITA, Labor Code, Social Security Code, etc.
- Experience with SoftSystems accounting software is an advantage.
- Good computer literacy (Excel, Word).
- Attention to detail, responsibility, and the ability to work independently.
- Experience in a company from a similar sector is a plus.
