We are seeking a Budget Controller with German language skills for our client, an MDAX company and a leader in the real estate market in Germany.
Responsibilities
- Plan costs and budgets for current and future projects, while managing project-specific schedules.
- Oversee the weekly and monthly closing processes and reporting.
- Prepare various internal reports for management.
- Monitor the budgetary activities of projects.
- Manage contracts, invoices, and payments related to projects, as well as their timelines.
- Evaluate actual progress against approved timelines and actual costs against the approved budget.
Skills/Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture, engineering, economics, or business administration.
- Proficiency in spoken and written German and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Experience as a budget assistant controller or budget controller.
- Proficient in office software tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with ERP systems; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
