We are seeking a Junior Vendor Management Specialist who is proficient in German for our client, an MDAX company and leader in the real estate market in Germany.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact between the company and its suppliers while managing vendor relationships.
- Monitor vendor performance through regular assessments and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Develop and implement vendor management strategies to optimize procurement and supply chain efficiency.
- Address and resolve any issues or disputes with vendors promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as procurement, finance, and operations, to ensure smooth vendor operations.
- Analyze vendor data and metrics to identify trends and inform decisions for improvements.
- Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and product availability.
- Ensure that vendors comply with the company’s legal and regulatory requirements.
Skills/Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Economics or Business Administration.
- Interest in the real estate industry; prior knowledge is not required.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written German and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with SAP is a plus.
